6. Project Longevity

6. Project Longevity

The Kier Gallery needs to operate equally on a level playing field. Currently that field is not level.
The Kier Gallery has no festival or event funding that creates an economic base to boost business and draw an audience to it's doorsteps.

The Kier Gallery would join in the public festivals and parades by providing characters in history.
Using a proven model that works in other historical towns all across North America.
This would increase artist sales and increase a presence of historical reenactment for tourists visiting Victoria Row .

The City of Charlottetown has clearly indicate the following cultural sector needs
  • The community wants to engage in street performances
  • There is a cultural workforce that wants to learn experientially
  • The cobblestone theater will focus on the Charlottetown Conference events.
  • We will present our Historical Characters in parades, festival, schools,
  • Each set will represent a very important reenactment in Prince Edward Islands Confederation History
